Barraterre is a tiny little town on the Northern tip of Great Exuma. While it’s not really a destination in and of itself, we do sometimes do arrivals and departures there if the currents on the Eastern side of the island are not agreeable. It is 12 nautical miles north of Emerald Bay where we usually depart Great Exuma and ensures smooth sailing for our guests.
